and loans) divided by the average of grant funding from the prior three
years. Applies only to those
institutions with $1 million or more in annual research expenditures. Performance is assessed by the following
scale: 105% or more is
"Exceeds"; 95% to 104% is "Achieves"; and 94% or less is
"Does Not Achieve." (Note:
This measure was revised for PF Year 1999-00 (Yr 4). In past years, current expenditures were
compared to a weighted 3-year average.) |
