The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education (CHE) has officially opened the appeals cycle for state scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year. This process provides an opportunity for students who have encountered extenuating circumstances affecting their scholarship eligibility to request reconsideration.

Students enrolled for the full academic year (Fall 2025 through Spring 2026) must submit their appeals by Sept. 12, 2025, to be reviewed during the fall semester.

Students enrolling for the Spring 2026 semester only may begin submitting appeals on Sept. 15, 2025. The final deadline to submit an appeal for spring consideration is Febr. 13, 2026.
