The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education will host three Summer Residency and State Scholarship Workshops in July to support institutional residency, financial aid and admissions officers in the administration of state scholarships.
The workshops will provide valuable training, highlight current and potential changes to state regulations, and provide a forum for open dialogue on key issues impacting state financial aid and residency. Representatives from Financial Aid, Admissions, and Residency are encouraged to attend both sessions. Diverse perspectives enrich the conversation and help strengthen shared understanding across our state.
The dates and times for the workshops are:
Thursday, July 10, 2025 – Upstate Workshops at Greenville Technical College
- 9-11 AM: SC Residency Workshop
- 11:30 AM-1 PM: State Scholarship and Grants Workshop
Tuesday July 22, 2025: Midlands Workshops at Aiken Technical College
- 9-11 AM: SC Residency Workshop
- 11:30 AM - 1 PM: State Scholarship and Grants Workshop
Tuesday, July 29, 2025: Lowcountry Trident Technical College
- 9-11 AM: SC Residency Workshop
- 11:30 AM-1 PM State Scholarship and Grants Workshop
