The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education is pleased to host the 2026 State Scholarship and South Carolina Residency Summer Workshops for college and university financial aid, admissions, and residency professionals.
These workshops provide an opportunity for institutional staff to receive training and updates regarding South Carolina state financial aid programs and residency regulations, discuss recent and potential future changes to statutes and regulations, and engage in open dialogue with colleagues and CHE staff.
Participants are encouraged to attend both workshop sessions and bring a team from their institution. Financial aid professionals are welcome to attend the residency workshop, and admissions and residency staff are encouraged to participate in the scholarship and grants workshop.

Tuesday, July 14, 2026 – Upstate Workshops

Thursday, July 16, 2026 – Midlands Workshops
Host Institution: Columbia International University

Wednesday, July 22, 2026 – Lowcountry Workshops

No registration is required for the workshops. Institutions should select the location that works best for their staff and attend accordingly.
